Ok so I attempted to rebuild my carb and felt pretty good about it till I started it up. It was sputtering and fighting to keep an idle. When I was taking it apart I took off one of the diaphragms on the top that leads to thing with the red wire coming out of it. I tore part of the diaphragm so I had to drill out the rivets to open the thing with the red wire. Put the new diaphragm in and took a guess at where the spring goes. There is a heat spring and another smaller spring in there. Do both rest on the lever arm and does the smaller one have pressure on it? Another thing I noticed was the thing with the red wire was warm when it was running. Also when I turned off the motor a lot of gas came dumping out of I'm guessing the bowl down the intake. Any carb gurus here got any idea of what I funked up? Or is it chits creek?
