I have acquired a truck with a 292 that has been rebuilt and bored 30 over. It has this Holley throttle body on it with what looks like two injectors but there is no return line from it to the tank. It gets fed from the mechanical pump on the block. I would like to find some information on it. Looking at the injection set up on it I wouldn’t be surprised to find out it is some sort of aftermarket add on. Does anyone recognize it or can you point me in another direction?
I could not find a model number on only the brand and what I believe is a list of patent numbers. Any help is appreciated.
I was figuring it might be something home brew. The people I bought it from had small machine shop. The engine was pulled from an 85 Chevy pickup. Currently it is sitting in a 85 CJ10.
I got the impression the truck had been sitting for a number of years (like 10) before I bought it.
There are a few home brew modifications on the truck, some nicer than others.
I am hoping not to have to pull the carb to figure it out. I am going to swap the fuel filters on it and see if I can get it to fire up before I take it apart.
We I got some fuel to the carb last night and it fired right up. I couldn’t drive it because I need to work on the brakes. Maybe it will be fine just as it is.
