Help, Avatar 'Upload of file failed."

I keep getting the 'Upload of file failed." when I am trying to upload an avatar.

size is good but I cant ever get my avatar correct. Is there a switch or something else I need to enable?

size, as in dimensions, or size, as in file size?

Dimensions are good. I still get the error, but my avatar Finally started showing up just now. crazy!?
