Hey,
Im vibedude and Im new to the forum, I just purchased a 74 Fj40. I've wanted one since I'm 12 years old. It's my intention to do a SOA conversion, disc brakes, and a small block since it already has the advance adapter and a TH 350 in it. I see a lot on this forum and look forward to chatting with you all.

LOL here is where i'm at, I am removing the axle housings and sending them out for the SOA fab work.

my advise to you as our newest member is to forget about the things you may have seen or read about a FJ40 Small Block Equipped and Craig's List all the advance adapter and a TH 350 's monkey business , now starting tonight .......

ToyotaMatt, thanks for the advice, I am definitely not in love with the set up, it was there when I bought it, I figured it would be easier to work with what I got. what do you suggest?
