Heater T Coolant Loss Neglect --> Starter issues ("Click" no crank) --Ground Wire?
So my rig has been mostly used as a "grocery getter" and I knew my T's were leaking-- I bought bass replacements and misplaced them. Alot going on at home and I'm finally coming up for air. I figured the short distance driving didnt matter so much.... until I started having starting issues. It's not the battery-- plenty of juice there.
When starting I would get an audible "click" with no crank. I read somewhere on here that it could be the ground and talking it over with the a friend he agreed.
I'm guessing the ground wire got corroded/destroyed and nothing's going to the starter.
Can anyone help with chasing this down further? I bought a replacement started (2003 LX470 135k) and it turns out its alot more work accessing it than I initially thought and of course there's no point in replacing it if the issue is the ground wire, right?

Hey y'all. I swapped the heater tees on my LX470 yesterday and then drove a lap of the neighborhood. This morning, I got in and tried to start it, all I get is a click and whirring noise.
There was a direct starter lead under the hood when I bought the truck, and if I turn the key to ON and touch it to the battery, the truck starts.
Starter relay tested good with a multimeter and 12v battery on it. Immobilizer and neutral switch seem fine as it'll start when the starter is jumped. Something between the ignition and the starter isn't working. I thought perhaps that there's a bad ground somewhere, and tested continuity across the ground near the heater tee.
-- he was able to solve it since it was a 30A starter fuse in the fusable link was blown.
