Can anyone help with my heater problem?

Push the fan control buttons and nothing happens.

Push the AUTO button and the fan comes on full and now won't shut off.

I cannot toggle the auto button to off now it is stuck on.

I cannot toggle the vent/cabin button, stuck on vent.

Please help, winter is comming in northern ontario and this needs to work:frown:

New climate control module?

I'm only speaking from experience with past vehicles.

So you have Auto. Therefore LX450 or 97 LC?

Check all harnesses are connected. And the white tube and small harness below it.

Check heater valve cable too.

Report back.

Anyone ever try spraying brake cleaner or silicon for sticky buttons?

Auto turned off now nothing is working.
JDM 91 HDJ80, heater valve cable is stuck, I sprayed some cable lube down there to get it freed up, will keep trying. How can a frozen cable cause the fan to not work?

Is there any way to bypass all the climate control BS, I have the AC disconnected already?
Strait wire the fan to a swith from an older truck (I have lots of parts :))

I have a replacement control panel and module if you need. Came out of my 92 HDJ81 half cut. PM me if interested. I'm in BC.

Clean your control module

Is the control module a part of the circuit or is it the dash part with all the buttons? How would I clean this part, just remove and spay with contact cleaner? Any schematics would really help.

If your controls look like this then there's an actual control module it's under driver side dash above gas pedal has 2 connectors on it 2 bolts hold it down take this out pull case open and slide circuit board out. you will notice corrosion on board. take a tooth brush and circuit broad cleaner ( I bought mine $14 at radio shack) spray, lightly scrub all areas of board even all contacts do this till u have all or most corrosion off spray down let dry then install should work it fixed mine I had nothing before I cleaned mine.
