Heater box/core temp sensor question

Yes - I tried to search.

I am replacing the rotten heater core and putting things back together. I can not find a wire to connect to (what looks like) a temp sensor wire from the base of the heater box.

I can’t remember if anything was connected during teardown. Took several photos - but they don’t show it.

I’m thinking it might be wired there for the fancier auto HVAC systems.

It’s the connector in front.

I believe I have something connected to that connector. LX450 with automatic climate. I don't have the greatest photo of it as it was partially hidden behind the wiring harness when I took the photo.

Thank you for the response. The truck has the manual HVAC. I was in a challenging state of mind after wedging the heater box back in, bending back a bracket, and re-thread the bolt hole to get the support bar back in place. I thought I left a wire behind the boxes.
