Headlight problem / question ?

Already post it in the 60 serie... it not a 24V prob... but it in a diesel cruiser... So :

- Hight beams working when pulling the arm.

- Headlight not working when turning the tip of the arm but all other light (tail, side marker,...) working. (Strage thing, the hight bean blue light is "ON" in the dash).

- Hight beams not working when turining the tip of the arm AND pushing the arm.


Then... how make the headlight working when turning the tip of the arm ?

Headlight dimmer switch ?
Headlight dimmer relay ?
Heaglight control relay ?
What else ?

Thank to put some LIGHT in my problem !

(I can't belive the two low light get burn at the same moment !)

fusible link.. ? And with a fusible link blow, the higt beam can work when pulling the arm ?

I check all the fuse - OK
I check the headlight control as show in the manual - OK
I pull appart the steering wires terminal , then clean it and lots of other... - OK
I check the the continuity with as show in the manual - OK
I check the light itself - OK
I check all the wire !

Look like the problem is under the hood. I'll check other relay tomorow !

Any other idea ?

PS : there is one thing... one... the hight beam bleu light is ON when the headlight should be ON ! Why !?

Sometime Toyota set the vehicule to make a bulb light when the is a problem. Like the "Filter" light (on a 3B) go ON when the alternator will die shortly.

Finaly :

remove every little electrical thing in the steering colum.

Clean every thing, remove the oxydation and dust.

Then... light work.
