Would any fellow pig owners happen to have a picture of their exhaust on a MAF 6-1 header, Rear Collector/flange area? Thanks
My exhaust manifold was too shot to even resurface and I got sick of exhaust leaks so I ordered one of MAFs newer 6-1 headers for the 55/60. The rear collector exits not too far in front of the rear mount, making exhaust routing tricky. I have a clean pair of SOR 2 piece headers that had me contemplating changing the rear motor/ trans mount, but that seems excessive.
Besides that the new header flange was almost exactly the same thickness of my intake manifold. I was able to get a hi-po Toyota manifold to fit, but it is pretty close to the intake (2-3 mm). It also seems a bit too close to the oil pressure regulator and my front brake line (brake line is not stock configuration though).
I love Surf n Turf, it makes me do an annual check up on my pig.
