Head unit mic - overhead routing

Installed a CarPlay/Bluetooth Pioneer head unit last week. Huge difference in phone integration, but much better with the remote mic close to my head. I’m thinking about routing it up the a-pillar and into the map light console.

How big a deal? I always cringe when pulling apart 26 year old plastic.

Very easy. Remove visor and grab handle and the A pillar trim pops right off. Than you can pull down the front edge of the headliner to tuck the cable. I put my mic next to the rearview mirror. Works pretty well.
