Head Unit Grounding Location?

I’m almost finished up my nav delete and new head unit install but for the life of me can not find a location to ground the unit. Could partly be my own ignorance but it needs to be grounded to metal but everything I’m fining around the dash is just screws going into plastic. Does anyone have a recommended spot?

Could I just drill into this and add a self tapping screw?

This bar instead. It’s actually part of the vehicle structure.

Although, there should be a ground wire in the original head unit harness you could tap into. You’ll need to check the wiring diagrams but it’s probably black or white with black stripe.

That is what I did, just spliced off one of the bundles back there. I forget the color… but maybe black with red stripe… electrical diagram would show.
