I bought the engine a year ago last Feb in Colorado for my 60. The PO told me it had 120K on it. I put the engine in my 60 and it drove fine - for about 150 miles. Ran compression and had 2 low cylinders. Pulled the head to get rebuilt and found the 2 low cylinders had bad pistons. Long story short - I rebuilt my original engine. I do not think the head bad but. if I was putting it on my engine, I would go ahead and get it rebuilt. It might be fine to drop right in though.

Mike, I would appreciate the hauling from Tulsa, if I can't figure it out for next weekend. When do you plan on going that way? You are in Wichita, correct?

I've got some other parts Dave's hold'n for me I need to get too. If I can get down there in the next week or so I'll be in Topeka a week from Friday for the drag races and meet up with ya then.

Mike, I will be down in Pineville, near Bentonville that weekend for some canoeing, and maybe I can meet up with Dave, depending on his schedule. I could probably haul your stuff too, and then sometime we could meet up somewhere. Seems Wichita and Kansas City is just about far enough apart to be a hassle in how we could do this. I am not going to be at the races this year. For the first time in a long time.
