Head Bolt Size/Shape

I've been searching and reading for over an hour now and haven't found the answer. I'm to the point of removing the head bolts and when I tried to remove them, I noticed they aren't your normal bolts.

From what I can find, they are 12 mm 12 point but what type of head? Mine are cone or pyramid shaped and seem like they're a star shaped head. Can anyone confirm a size and shape for me? I'd like to pick up a socket at the store tomorrow but want confirmation of what I'm looking for. Any help would be appreciated. This is on a '96 LX 450.

It fits a normal metric 12-point socket; don't remember what size, but 12mm sounds close.

Thanks for the info. I have the 12-point socket and if all goes well, the head will be off soon.
