HDJ81 window runner replaced

Just had my passenger side window runner replaced and I'm noticing the window is
lurching/shuddering when it goes up and down. Anyone know why? I had the drivers side done a while ago and it never did that...

If it is like the ones on the Patrol (I assume most vehicles are the same), it can be adjusted tighter to the window or further out. Perhaps, you have it too tight to the window or the runners are not exactly in parallel. I had to take mine out to get a replacement window in. I used the bolt head marks for reference when re-installing the runner.

Maybe the window mounts have gotten a little loose, so now the window is rocking, and jamming when it moves?

I did all four of mine in the summer. I had one that did the same. I was too lazy to take it apart and after a couple of days it was fine. Might just need to wear in.

Yep! It seems to have worked itself in. Same as your's.
