So I am looking at importing a BJ40 from Panama, and since I am just a big white gringo with no Spanish skills, I am looking at shipping it up here. The difference between a 20 foot container and a 40 foot container is pretty small, so looking at including some goodies to help pay for everything. I hear it can be relatively simple to get a HDJ80 halfcut.Would there be any interest from anyone? Heck, I might buy one for myself! I am not looking to buy and sell any...you could buy one and include it in my container for just a shipping cost. You could always buy a BJ40, 70 etc whatever they have there also. "Encuentra 24" is a website with trucks for sale, and they even have Craigslist! :) Let me know if you are interested, PM here or timmbuck2 at yahoo

Be the cool kid on the block, have a diesel in your 80! :grinpimp:

Smart man to jump on the BJ40, I know what truck you are talking about. If all you do is bring that truck in and sling it you will turn a profit, no doubt!

I will take an FJ60/62 high roof. All I want is the roof. Chop it at the windshield frame, pillars and so forth. I will pay for a portion of shipping plus what it cost for the top in Panama plus a small finders fee. I will also pick it up in Colorado.

:D

No profit, I want to drive that 40 for a long time!!! :)

I put the word out for what you are looking for...

Hmm...and 1986 and earlier 70's are legal now, too.

Thanks...

And soon to be early 1987s. If you have cash and a shipping container, you would be numb not to bring some stuff in. I been to Panama, they got tons of diesels there!

exactly...and I am not that numb. ;)

I also may be partnering with a great guy on the East Coast who would be dropping the diesel of your choice in your own 80....or selling converted diesel 80's. :grinpimp::eek:
