I'm planning to put swap a 1996 1HDFT and 2000 HDJ100 A442F auto trans into my 1996 FZJ80. My question is about transfer case compatibility. I believe the HDJ100 only came with the HF2A, and my 80 came with the HF2AV with viscous coupler, making the driveshaft lengths different. Can I swap my HF2AV transfer case onto the HDJ100 A442F? I'm reading it will bolt up, but not sure about the input gear side.
