Hazards were working yesterday, now I have no constant power to the hazard switch. The GR power wire that runs from the fuse block to the switch has an inline fuse mounted in it somewhere.Does anyone know where this fuse is located on my '71.Here is a wire diagram, the fuse is marked in red. Thanks

not a single person.wow.not sure if its a stumper,or you guys are sick of me posting.Ill get behind the dash tonight and see if I can spot it.

Not sure if this will help you or not. On the FJ40 of the same era that inline fuse is in the main wiring harness. My 68 FJ40 hazard lights didn't work when i bought it. The dealer wanted a small fortune to replace it so I passed. Later I found it easy to replace by removing the vent in front of the windshield. Took me a couple of minutes to replace what the dealer was going to charge me a couple of hours for. Does the 55 have any vent in the front that can be remove?

hazard fuse

I dont have a removable vent, but maybe through the radio opening.I know its back up in there somewhere.Time to get inverted behind the dash I guess. Thanks for the advise.

Sorry, no such inline fuses on the '76. I know cause I went through the whole wiring harness when I restored it.

sorry there sawtooth guy man dude. I haven't had to hunt that down. I hope I don't have to any time soon. But when that time comes I'll be sure to ask you:beer::meh:
