hate to ask but........

    wondering if 15 x 8(steel) with 4 inch bs is possible using wheel spacers..... yup i did search......came up with nada.... other than the usual 3.5 bs

    i don't think so, you'll need a 1/2" spacer i think to get them to clear the tie rod ends.

    i could be wrong and someone smarter will probably correct me. :D

    I currently have a set of cragar rims with 4" backspacing on my FJ40. They do clear, but it was close.

    Running them on the FJ until I get bigger tires. These were the trail wheels for my truck before I got the FJ :)

    so 1/2 inch spacer should be enough? also i gearing up to do a soa and hysteer in the next couple of weeks.....should i be worried about clearance there?...........

    with a halg inch spacer you will want longer studs on the wheels as well.

    get actual bolt on spacers, not the shim style and you should be fine. marlin sells them, and i know a bunch of other vendors do also, just haven't looked for them.

    I put my 4" backspace rims on with no backspaceers and it wasn't fun. Had to take them off. Definitely 1/2" spacers

    nope, i've ran 1.5" before.
    check you studs on your rig first, make sure they're going to seat up with the thread filling the lug nut.
    if not you're going to need longer studs.
    i was pushing it with my 1.5"

    bolt ons are much better
