Has anyone changed exterior 570 badges to look like a Landcruiser?

As we all know, 570 cost less than a LC200.
But I prefer driving a Toyota.

I figure I could change the front grill badge to a Toyota emblem and
on the rear replace "Lexus" and "LX570" with "Toyota" on one side and then "Landcruiser" on the other side.

Has anyone does this, have pics?

Thanks

What model year is you 570?

Uhhh, its a 1995 fj80. :smokin:

But the 200 bug is biting me hard, and it might be time to move into the 21st century.

Just seeing if I can save 4 grand and still drive a "landcruiser"

I say buy either a LC or an LX...leave it..and then you can sing along with Sammy on the stereo without shame... :hillbilly:

No need, put KO2s and sliders and it will look raw. I had a Lexus LX470 with ARB suspension that looked good. Don't be impressed by badges.

So...ribbing aside... to answer your question... Ya, you can change badges in the rear...but depending on model year and the corresponding front grill version...the front could be either pretty easy...or a PITA.

On my non-OEM from grill, for example...there was no badge...so I could do whatever I wanted. Here is my grill after I painted it...along options I had and considered...

Here is how it looked pre-bumper, light, winch...

New or used? I paid $8.5K+ more for a new 570 compared to LC200 in 2015.

Prices are different on current 2019/2020 models. The base LX is now about the same price as the base LC, and the base LC offers more standard features than it did in 2015. For used values, the LXs are in greater supply, so they are priced a little less.

Yep, the classic block Toyota logo is the best looking one!

Personally, I would have preferred the 40 series badge on the "Heritage" edition. It's my favorite Toyota emblem. I guess it doesn't fit with the anniversary theme, though.

The heritage edition has a pre-1975 FJ-40 badge...no?

Correct. The revised, more common logo is probably more associated with the Land Cruiser globally, though.
