I already bypassed the SAIS with a RUTECH kit (link below). It was plug and play, and has been doing great the last 2 years. I haven't installed the block off plates yet mainly because I keep forgetting. But considering the faults I would get were for the left and right bank switching valve being stuck closed I don't think it's any real harm if I don't. Maybe someone will tell me otherwise.

Is it throwing a PO2445 about ~15 minutes after startup on cold mornings and going into limp home mode? If so, it may have the ECU glitch. Mine has that. I just re-start the engine at the first stop sign leaving my neighborhood on cold mornings, and it won't throw the code.

The only codes I got were P1442 and P1445. After installing the kit it's been without issue. I'll keep that in mind if it ever pops up.
