I attended a funeral today for the 88 yr old mother of one of my closest friends, so maybe I'm in reflective mood.....
I'm truly thankful and consider myself one of the most blessed men on earth............
I had 3 great men, my Dad and both Grandpa's that just lived their lives in such a way, I never wondered how a man should behave or treat people.....and to quote a Tx songwriter"If I'm half the men they were, I'd be twice the man I am"
I have a loving wife, 3 wonderful children each married to perfect partners, we all get along........a mother that still seems young although she's 72
A brother I work with daily and we quit fighting physically a few years ago (got too old) :D
2 beautiful grand daughters
A bunch of friends in LSLC/White Trash/Toyota Trail Riders (the 3 strong local TLCA clubs) that are more like family than aquaintances.....guys that you could call at 3 in morning and they would just respond.........
An extended family that actually spans the globe via this obsession we share.........
I love you guys.

sorry to hear about the mother of your friend. funerals suck.
a good friend of mine died while i was at snt and i missed his funeral. from what i've heard from my ex and old coworkers, i'm almost glad...don't think i could handle it. i'm dedicating tomorrow to him.
i plan on swinging by my "adopted" family's for dinner tomorrow, which is going to be hard because "dad" has cancer also and the chemo's currently kicking his ass. dad's the one that helped my build my 40, took me on my first grouse hunt, got me back into dirtbiking...i have more in common with him and his family than my own.
on the positive side, my father called the other day to tell me his cancer is gone.
with all that, i'm feeling a bit reflective myself

It ain't even friggin' 6 o'clock (local) in the mornin' yet and I'm up to go to work today. I'm 1600 miles from home ... it's cold ... and it's rainin' to boot.

But I'm DAMN thankful.

Just thankful I woke up today ... 'cause one of these days I ain't gonna.

Hopefully most of ya'll are lucky enuff to be with family and/or friends today ...

But to those that ain't ...

I'll toast a beer to ya at the bar today. :bounce:  :bounce:

Livin' large no matter where I'm at ...

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

I've been going through some changes in my life lately, and I'm glad that I still have a group of friends with similar interests, in my life. Hope to see you all in 2007.

Thank you all

Hell, I'm gonna start cryin'. Thanks for a year full of good times with you guys. The CLC is looking forward to another year. Hope everyone had a great turkey day. Remember our troops over in the sand box. The holidays are the toughest time for most of them.
