Having this in my BJ73, generally at low speeds and with foot on the brake pedal, fluid reservoir is full & handbrake position switch seems fine & unimpeded, what else to look at?

Probably the light is indicating that there is not enough vacuum for the booster. Mine does this pretty often since I installed a larger brake booster. Could be a leaking hose. Sme folks have installed larger or secondary vacuum reservoirs.

Ah my clutch booster is faulty but the vaccum is still hooked up to it - this could be the issue. Will have a look after work, cheers

Hello,

Check your pads and disks. Improper disk/pad contact can require more brake system (not driver) effort and use up additional vacuum, hence the warning light.
