Hand throttle install instructions, adjustment help (3 Viewers)

Installed it, but idling high as I didn't adjust it for 5mm of free play per Slee's instructions:

Anyone know if I need to turn clockwise or counter clockwise to lower the RPMs? It is hard to see under there!

clockwise will give the slack-lower rpm ...run your car in idle while you are doing the adjustment...

I'm trying to install the damned thing but keep running into trouble.
1: Retainer/ball pin (check)
2: Area in between adjusting screw and inner cable? WTF? I cannot figure out if that black piece slips into the steel on the bracket. Can anyone confirm?

the black piece has two tabs on it, that is to lock the adjustment in place when you are done, push the black piece towards the adjustment nut to lock it into place, and press on the 2 tabs to undo the plastic piece. there is plenty of movement in the cable. you dont need to make the adjustment tight.

yes, the black rubber with the groove will only fit one way, so you have to keep turning it till you find the sweet spot and force it into place on the bracket. then put the end of the cable through the bracket hole and clip in the little white plastic, and then move on to the adjustment.
