Hammerite for overall Paint???

Anyone ever use the quarts or gallons on exterior ?
My local hardware store has it in both...... thinking about how durable it is in rattle cans got me thinking.....
I bought a couple of cans of the smooth white and did my hood hinges and bib hinge, man they turn out as slick and glossy as any paint I ever used.....

I used hammered grey hammerite in rattle cans on my 40mack in the late 90's. It looks good for about three years before it will need a respray. The again I hardly ever washed it and never waxed it. I really liked the look.
