Hail, dadgummit

Racquet ball sized hail at my office. New windshield on order. I'll think about the hood later.
Broke all the plastic endcaps on the roof rack. Maybe time for a Sherpa?
Kinda wish I'd driven the '98 4Runner today - cheaper windshield.

My son saw baseball sized hail at his location.

Coworker was driving his new Tacoma Trail Hunter in it. He thinks it's totaled. Every body panel dented.

Bummer, that's some big hail.
I drove through a hail storm a year ago that I thought was beating the hell out of my truck, but I came through it remarkably unharmed. There is really only one dent on the hood that is visible. The old steel panels held up well. It did break my windshield wiper mechanism.

We got hit hard over here in SEMO on Monday. The hail woke me up at 3:30 AM. Luckily I had parked my GX470 in the shop, or it would have been trashed. Hundreds of cars in town were totaled along with hundreds of roofs.
