I talked w/ McKeel Hagerty about August being the anniversary of the debut of the 60 and the 40. I think the 60 debuted August 1980 and the 40 was August of 1960?
Anyways, their corporate headquarters is here in TVC. They have a huge rounded glass window at ground level and feature some pretty amazing vehicles in there for all the folks walking by. Often times there is a feature in their magazine re: the history or provenance of the display vehicle.
He wants to put 3 to 4 40’s and 60’s in the front window next month. I’ve got one of each.
Anyone else interested in loaning Hagerty your LC for a little bit next month? It will have to be after Solid Axle Summit since I won't be back in TVC w/ my 60 till about the 10th.
