H55f Tranny plug size?

Today trying to replace the fluid in my h55f transmission, I had intended to replace the fill and drain plugs with 10mm hex versions as many wise people have also done. I noticed the drain plugs I got have an extra long magnetic tip that is nearly twice the length of the existing plug (one on the right). Is this too long? Will I shear it off inside the tranny (or t-case, I have two drain plugs like this)?

don't know, but you could stick a screw driver or something up in the hole and see how much room you have.

Thanks. I uh stuck my finger (gloved) up in there and couldn’t detect anything nearby. Installed and everything seems works fine.
