H55F rebuild?

I bought it for $1000, internally does appear to be low KM. However, the top of the shifter doesn’t want to go into 3rd gear. I bought it anyways.

Be aware that that is an earlier type H55F, all the input shaft parts are different from the later H55F.

What happened to the one you partially stripped down?

Nothing happened, to my knowledge its in really good shape, 0 shaft play.


Only bought this 1985 H55F is because its was low KM. But something is wrong with it.
