BLUF: H55F gear selector shaft out of sync
Recently removed the H55F shifter cane from the transmission top cover (60s style) to have it bent for better clearance with center console.
At the time it was removed, I was careful (or at least I thought so) to have it placed in neutral.
Upon reinstalling, the shifter cane went in no problem; however, it seems things are out of sync. While in what would be the neutral position, the output shaft still spins.
Currently have the rear end on jack stands for troubleshooting. Have the transmission FSM but curious if there are thoughts on how one would go about re-establishing gear positions.
