GX LED step/underbody lights

I will be putting on a set of sliders soon and I'd like to replace the crappy OEM yellow incandescent step lights with a LED light. I plan to wire them in where the factory lights are so that they still function with the doors and proximity lighting. Any suggestions on which lights to buy or those that work best from those who have been down this road already?

Amazon find? Have a link? Did you just splice them into the existing wires?

I had them sitting in a cabinet. Something like these should work.
You don't want any of the color changing ones.
Yes I just cut the connectors off the existing light harness and soldered them on to the rock lights.
