Gutter Cracks (1 Viewer)

I have been lazy to replace the left and right brackets that secure the windshield to the door frame on my 1978 FJ40. But I did that this weekend and the windshield is secure, no more movement. BUT the movement prior to the fix created a crack on each side of my roof gutter. I need to fix some additional imperfections on my roof and repaint anyway - what solutions does the forum have to fix the cracks ?

I think that folks have generally been using seam sealer in the roof gutter to cover the rivets. That is what we used and have been pleased. I think that it was a 2 part 3M product.

I used the 3m two-part self leveling...worked well, but I used it after fully splitting the cap and gutter and re-riveting so it was 100% squeaky clean. I'm not sure how it'd work/adhere over existing - might work ok, might not.
