Grooving XML

Can somebody help me with what direction I should go in grooving this tire tread...

The tires are going on a multi-purpose rig that will see sand. mud and rocks. I was thinking of cutting a cross into the squares and side lugs????

You can, but from what I've seen, it really won't help.

I'd just leave the pattern but go about 3/8" deeper and 1/2" wider. You'll know you've gone too deep if your tire start rusting... Ask Behemoth60

It says regrooveable right on the sidewall. How deep does it let you regroove it?

I don't know what Michelin says but I'll bet you can go another 10/32 on a 325 85 16 before you get close to the steel. 16R20s are good for nearly another inch!
