Has anyone heard of or been to Green Drop Lake in the Skagit area? A friend of mine found it on Google Earth and wants to try and find it.

There's a hiking trail up there. Go to the library and find either 109 Walks or 103 Hikes and it will be in there. I'd start with 103 Hikes!

Hey!
I've hiked in there twice this year. Great day hike, or an overnighter. The trailhead starts at the Post Creek parking lot, just before Chilliwack lake on Chilliwack Lake Road. It is well traveled and clearly marked. The trail also takes you by Lindeman Lake which also has lots of room for camping, but tends to be a bit more cowded as it is only a 45 min. hike to Lindeman.
The hike is pretty easy. If you are looking for more of a challenge try the Flora Lake trail instead. Starts at the same place, it is a grueler but pays off with awesome views from the sub alpine. There is an overgrown trail leading from Flora to Greendrop. It is about a 20k hike if you do the whole loop, pretty overgrown and seldom used but we found our way fairly easily last month.

I have a JDM '88 BJ74V LX. Sits on 33's with about 3" - 4" lift. And cable lockers!
