Now for my dumb question. I have never posted pics online. HELP :)

When posting a message, there are "additional options" at the bottom on the screen, one of which is an "attach files" option. There you can upload and attach a jpeg. The pictures can only be up to like 90 something KB in size. So you will most likely need to resize the photo down some in photo shop or whatever software you use, so the file size is small enough.

 and congrats!

Congrat,
Sounds like you got a good deal to me.
I bought a 96'white, locker, at 131K .
Now at 158k with no major problems.
You'll love it.

i bought my 97 with 117,000 miles for around $12K -- guess i got lucky -- good luck with the new toy

p.s. besides oil or tune up, it may help to lube up the zirks and knuckle

Hello all........I GOT IT! Been very busy. Took a couple of pics. Will post later this evening.

You have the same exact LC I have  - bought mine a long time ago and currently 127k on her. The color is great - shines very deep and glassy/reflective when just washed - hides dirt well too. I bought her from a Toyota dealership in Connecticut. I had her in the snow for a while but she's been in the surf and sun of South Florida since 2001. Congrats and have fun.

Congrats on the purchase, oh and for AK you got a great price! People around here seem to think these things are made of gold. I just saw a 98 with 75k mile in the paper yesterday for $23K!!!!

Anyways another person you might want to get acquainted with is Mark Whatley of “Cruisers Only” in Wasilla. You will not find a more knowledgeable guy on cruisers in the state. His shop exclusively works on Land Cruisers, from basic maintenance to full on custom work.

Take care and enjoy your purchase.

Yes, it does hide dirt well. That will................hold on..we are having an earthquake at this very moment. will post later. Sure there will be an aftershock

EARTHQUAKE ............I'm back. I went outside. When stuff starts shakin', I give it room to fall. It was a minor one. Lasted a few seconds. Neighbors were also outside trying to elude the quake. Safety first. Of course they noticed my LC. One of my neighbors thought it was newer than it is. Makes you feel even better about your purchase (The ego is free to ruuuuunnnnnnn)! :D

Going to buy Eclipse speakers today. I want to keep doors looking stock. Ordered a Clarion head unit (Clarion ProAudio DXZ845MC -$279.99) from Crutchfield Saturday. It may arrive today. The Revos may have to wait a moment. Daughter needs braces.

Well, I'm off to detail the interior, Q-tips in hand.

Earthquake!! I can't even imagine what that must be like. Never experienced one before.

Congrats on the purchase.
