GPS Creative Mounting Ideas?

i have a lowrance XOG for trail mapping and of course drive directions. it comes with a simple windshield suction mount.

but to get crazy how about mounting it in the very back. you know. like the blingers who have tvs everywhere how about GPS every where!! offroad stylin you know so the next time you see a ford caprice on 32 inch wheels with tvs everywhere you can send em directions from your rear mounted GPS how to go to hell !

I am looking into either a in dash DVD nav combo or doing a car pc install and a usb reciever.

If you have a single in radio unit installed, you can do as I did (everybody wants to be like me ;p)

Remove ashtray, remove suction cup from GPS arm, drill holes through arm and into the top of the ashtray bay. secure with screws...

Why has NO ONE come up with a decent aftermarket Heads Up Display (HUD) yet? This would solve soo many issues.

Yeah I found all of those but those are all wearable HUDs. I am talking about a vehicle one. I'd even be willing to cut into my dashpad if there was a really slick solution.

I put my Garmin Nuvi 205w in front of the 4wd shifter on the console, it works fine and it does not block my view.
