Hello- Has anyone had any experience with building a 40 using a Gozzard Tub. I am rebuilding my 79 with this tub and refirbishing /reusung my stock panels. Also when I place Corbeau seats in the tub ( not bolted in yet ) there isn't enough room between the steering wheel and the seat! Is the Gozzard configuration somewhat different to cause this? Any comments or I deas will help us ...
 
Welcome to the community. I have a gozzard tub too, but my build is atleast 12 months from being driveable. Post up pictures. Interior dimensions are surprisingly similar to an oem tub. Factory seats seem to fit fine in mine. For non oem seats you will have to figure that out yourself or post up pictures. The rollbar will need to be cut down as you already noticed based on your other thread. I would also recommmend cutting out your oem dash panel and use that instead of the gozzard dash, but then again I don't know what your goals are / end game is.

Feel free to reach out if you get stuck and need ideas on how to get over some hurdles of which there will be many.

Greetings to all. I have been lurking and posting a few time on your great informational site for years and gleaned many ideas for my build. Thank you.
I don't know what if any interest there is in a gozzard parts build so I will keep this short and if anyone has any questions or would like more info just ask and I will try to answer everyone.
I bought the mustard yellow 1979 in the early 90's with a cracked head and a snow plow from the original owner. Rebuilt the motor, changed the western plow to electric over hyd. and it never let me down.
