Well, I finally got my lift! I went with OME J's all around & Nitrocharger L's. No pics, but I think you all know what a lifted white 80 looks like. In fact, that's what several of you are driving! I averaged about 4" gain in the front, and 4.25" in the rear. It's a little "stinkbug", but not bad, and it doesn't bother me. I'm not sure if these springs will "settle", and loose a little of the lift I gained.
I haven't corrected the caster yet. I was at 3.7* before on my saggy, old, stock springs. Immediately post install I'm at -2.1*. In any event, it looks like I'd need 4* of correction to get back to spec. I'm leaning toward the 3* bushings, but I'll still be out by 1*. Decisions, decisions...
My BFG AT 285's are looking a little wimpy now. When they wear out (6months to a year, I think) I'm probably going to move up to the BFG KM2 315's. Between now and then, if any of get new tires and have an old 315/75R16 that could be used as a serviceable spare, would you let me know? At almost $300 each, I'd much rather purchase 4 of those babys than five!
Also, when I get my new tires I'll offer up the old ones to any of you that might need an old, but serviceable, 285 spare.
