After 2 days of having no truck and getting called into work for emergencys they are in!

What I used= Paint pen, BFH, Ball ping, Impact gun, 17mm 12mm sockets, locktite, big screw driver, extremely little punch, micrometer, feeler gauges, my head, file, and a lil elbow grease.

Rear- Easy, Hardest part was takin the Dowel Pin out. :wrench::wrench:/5
Front-Difficult, time consuming, headracking, pain in the ass. :wrench::wrench::wrench:/5

Overall a 5 hour job for both if you've done any before.

My enjoyable encounter included having to stay up till 12:30a.m. tearing down the rear, then go to work at 5:30a.m. get off at 8:00 p.m.,put it in, go totown, make sure it all works right, get home have the front apart in a record 45 minutes, leave it to drain for the night, get a phone call at 2:20 stating that my Greatgrandma is on the 1st of 3rd stages of death due to Alzheimers, and have no vehicle to do anything with, so you put it all back together with the Aussie on less than 7 hours sleep for the last 48 hours and make sure it works right. And then spend the last 6 hours cleaning the garage because you didnt care how sloppy you were.

But the work combined with what little sleep I have had has led me to write this.

Aussies F'N rock.
The front doesnt even feel like a locker, it steers just as easy, if not easier than before even in 4lo.
The rear, typical locker, kinda loud, but itll get quieter with time.

FYI Im extremely disapointed with my ground clearnce now and Purple Royal SYNGEAR.

Well worth the money, and ill get what little pics I have loaded and answer any questions 2morrow.

get you some sleep, we'll try to keep it down.

:grinpimp:

Bravo, on like, at least 10 counts...

Right on. Havn't had the time to swap my rear welded for my aussie yet. So its really not bad in the front? Have you taken it on any rocks yet? my rear is welded but if it doesnt cause any steering difficulty I might just put it in the front...

TC in 4hi/ 4Low with hubs locked?

Well, got no pictures, dam SD card from my phone wont read.

And yes, on the front, Ive to to try it on Railroad ties and have had the chance to steer around on a flat rock, just as easy as it was originally. When the tires start to spin it puts up very little reisistance. BUT I did notice when I did the test on jack stands the front was MUCH easier to disengage. The rear took two people, I did the front by myself.
Now, its time for some Protection. Skid plate, sliders, flatbed.

In comparison, my mom has a spooled front on her heep running 38's. Damn thing feels like your gonna have to turn the world upside down to turn her at all. Uncle has an ARB in his cruiser and an Elocker in his 80, for what little hes seen/drove it he would prefer mine over his ARB due to engagement time and reliability, hes just got a little soft with his elocker. But Neither my Uncles cruiser (if he leaves the locker engaged) or my moms heep can unlock their hubs when their done wheeling, mine feel like normal.

I think dad was extremely suprised when I drove it out of the garage in 4Lo and started turning and driving up stuff without a grunt.

1 little complaint about the rear for DD would be the loud left turns, right is as quite as a mouse. Turn left and it clicks purty loud. Ive never driven a standard with a Lunchbox, my K-5 had a rear lunchbox but it was an automatic, much easier to drive in my opinion.

Another little thing that suprises me is its loudest when you clutch a turn, you can actually accelerate turns and it be a itty biddy click, deccelarate and it gets louder.

Ground Clearance because i snag on EVERYTHING and Purple Royal SYNGEAR because It "reduces noise from mechanical lockers" BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! WRONG! And its heat resilient 'ingredients' some how managed to stain my garage floor purple. Half my fault, I REALLY jumped the gun there...
