got me a winch bumper

pics of my winch bumper,

its a lay down style winch bumper so i guess i wont be getting an 8274 , maybe look at getting a costco champion or one of those tabor winches .

any body recognize this type of bumper it had a sticker on the inside chanel from husky equipment .

i want to have to points and a hoop welded on .

Look in the buy and sell. Lots of nice used Warn's come up for sale all the time. Poser Heepers seem to sell them off frequently with little to no use.

Also call around to car dealerships. Most of them remove the winches prior to selling a vehicle. Having a winch on there makes customers think the truck was abused.

Also with Warn the option of parts is really good.

added some pics , what do you think ? i paid $100 , it sticks out a little for my overall taste but the price was right . i would like to mod it a little with a hoop for grill protection and some tow points .

I've installed a few and the bits and pieces, solenoids etc are Warn

for a 100 bucks I think its a great deal. Modifiy it as you wish. Should not be hard to bring it in a little if you think its out too far.

But out a little far is ok for me. Protection Now when you get stuck in a cross ditch maybe the front and back will hold it up

I bet a 8274 would fit in there.

I have an XD9000i. It mounts on the bottom, has the solenoid built in. It would mount in there. But sorry, not selling.

That is pretty much the standard aftermarket bumper that was offered around the Lower Mainland. (Near as I can figure). I've got the same design on my truck, and I have a pal in Kelowna who bought an HJ in N. Van with the same bumper. An 8274 mounted on perfectly, I had to modify it for a Warn 9500 HP. I don't think you could push the bumper back any farther and still get a winch to fit in there.
