I just bought an f150 that need new tires, the previous owner has 31x10.5x15's seams like a popular upgrade from the stock 235/75r15's . I need a set of all around tires that wont break the bank. I only paid $1000 for the truck so I am not spending more on tires .

any one heard of these tires ? the tread looks ok - but i am thinking made in China !

The SportsKing ATs were a great tire in 31s. I am still running a set for summer on my wife's Safari. It is there last summer before they get made into mats. They wear really well and were tough as nails. Once hit a cinder block at 80k on hyw 7 with them that fell off a truck in front of me. Thought for sure the tire would be damaged. The sidewalls on them were a lot tougher than the BFGs. Not sure what happened to the company. They were made by a Micheline owned company. I would not hesitate buying another set if I could find them. I paid under $700 mounted an balanced out the door some 7 years ago.

Edit: only down side was they need re-balancing yearly.

Google wild country xtx ,made by cooper. I've got 4 on toy 6 bolt alloys, basically brand new $400 for the package . Put them on your rims then give the rims to a member. Not sure who sells them or how good they are but I know a few people running them and they say they're better than toyo open country's . Would like to hear a comment on these wild country's starting to see more and more of them up here.

Canadian tire - bitches wont mount the 31x10.5r15's on my f150 - lol they said those tires are too big hahahah ! so I am either going to need to take them the rims and bring them home or go with another tire too bad $125 for a 31x10.5 tire is a great price.

x2 I am looking at possibly getting a set while in Alberta to save a few bucks on sales tax before I move back to Van.
One of the Kal tires is Edmonton here highly recommended them, they are made by cooper, I went to check them out and they look really decent, siping all the way through. They are quite reasonable, about $170 per tire for a 31x10.5 r15.
They also have an 80,000km treadlife warranty and have the winter rated snowflake.
I plan to downsize from my 33x10.5 bfg all terrains, I actually have put 105,000kms on them so that is pretty good!

Any other recommendations?
