"99.9% of dealer driven vehicles abused" Strongly disagree... On a GM or Chevy lot maybe, but not my experience with Toyota. Of course your dealership may have been the exception because there are a few disreputable Toyota dealerships out there.

I could not justify a new LC. I found a 2013 with 30,000 miles. It was the dealer owners car. It's like new and $53,400. Extended 100,000 warranty. Not the color I would have picked but I'm so stoked on this rig. Just food for thought.

As much as I'd like to believe you, I think your experience would prove the exception not the rule. Especially when talking about any mainstream brand American or Japanese.
These days only managers have demos but whenever some errand needs to be done, they toss the keys to anybody who works there. Even in their past my colleagues would tell me the cars were abused from whatever dealer they came from.
Some Corvette specialist Chevy dealers are very careful with their cars but there are not many out there. God forbid you get a PDK Porsche demo where the car had 20 launch control starts during break in. I know because when I was test driving a turbo the sales manager drove he told me to launch it. The car had 73 miles.

I was in the dealership having a driver door check replaced and I heard one service tech explain to one of the porters, "that's a Land Cruiser, we don't see too many of those in here." My '08 is going strong and although I really liked the one (1) LC on the lot at the dealer the price makes me think mine will be just fine for a few more years. This was in the window:

Dsallean, I think I scored too. All the upgrades of latest LC and I got it 3000 or so under Blue Book. LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP.

I paid 76500 and ordered brand new and picked up in end of May early June so not even left over at the time
