good price for a 4 year old norcold

i found a local Norcold MRFT40 for $400 says its in good condition is that sound like a good deal?

I have purchased 2 Norcolds off ebay.....a 60 quart/21 quart.

Both have been $250.00 or less.

I would say they are more than 4 years old but work great!

You also might want to consider the Waeco Coolmatic CF-50 for about $550 new. Some advantages over the Norcold 40 include: can store bottles such as wine upright =), interior light, voltage cut-off, reversible lid, lightweight, better insulation properties, daily storage area, and faster cooling. I believe Norcold/Engel/ARB have a better history of reliability/longevity though. The Waeco consumes more power (out of the box) but can be modded for selectable power consumption.
