to stay cool with my brother, his wife & 4 kids. The 80 will be packed!

I'll post up when we're back.

We're back - had a great trip, though my sister-in-law decided to walk down chicken scratch :D
Much cooler playing in the river up there then it was down here!

Very cool, did you take the 80 through there? How difficult is it? I looked it up on TD and it looks like a beautiful trail to take my fam through. The lees difficult and and more scenery the better!

So take 24 to co rd 3 (wildhorn rd) to..?
I really need a good co road map

You take 24 out to Divide and turn right. Then you turn Left on 51 (Cedar Mountain Road) until you get to 3, off to the left. Run that out until you get to the Metberry trailhead on the left. You'll come to Hackett and Longwater first.

The trail isn't that difficult ... just the one steep rock slab can be a little white-knuckle. Lockers give some confidence going up that, but aren't critical.

It really is a nice ride, and really nice with the river at the bottom. Wish it was a little closer ... it's about 3 hours to the river from my place NE of town.
