No more relatives in junior,Jamie's brother Jordan is playing for Texas Stars in the AHL and like everyone else in the AHL is hoping to get a shot at the "Show" someday.

Benn at the World Championships

Jamie potted two goals and an assist this morning against that mighty powerhouse France. He also got a "beauty" as Cherry would say in the first game.

Canada vs Russia 6am tomorrow so get up early or set the pvr and if you miss it i am sure they will replay it later.

Everyone keeps asking me how the Benn boys doing so here is the update.
Jamie has been playing for the Hamburg Freezers in Germany and he came home for xmas and to see his Granpa who was in hosp. If the lockout continues he will go back to Hamburg.
Jordie is doing well in the AHL for Texas Stars and here is a pic of him taking on Eberle and Nugent-Hopins from the Edmonton Oilers AHL team.
The caption should read"Take one step closer boys and you will both be eating lumber for lunch"

Jordie is up with the big club and has played every game and last night clocked a wopping 22 minutes. He played on the pk and got time on the pp as well.
Oh ya i should mention the Jamie signed last night for 26.25 million for 5 years.

That's awesome tho. Was kinda hoping he'd end up in van somehow, but don't think dallas would ever trade him
 
Was watching Team Canada play today and saw this in the commercial. Don't ask me what the add was for but i noticed he had two spares which comes in real handy when you are riding on BFG All Terrains.
