GM v8 bolt patterns

I'm wondering if anyone knows if the Aurora 4.0 v8 has the same bolt pattern and output as the standard small block?

Is that the same motor as the Northstar? if so, I seem to remember that being a problem for street rodders. they never made a RWD version of the trans.

It's a smaller displacement derivative of the Northstar, and without all that overly-complicated gadgetry. Only trans made for Aurora was a crappy 4 spd auto, not truck compatible, but if I could hook it up to a NV4500 than it's a great option for my needs.

The Aurora has the BOP (Buick, Olds, Pontiac) bellhousing pattern. You can get an adaptor plate to convert it to Chev/GMC. I believe that AA and Summit sell them.
