Former customer of mine put a Ram Jet 350 in his vehicle and is having numerous driveability problems. He went to the recommended GMPP service center in Green Bay, WI and they made the vehicle run worse and overheat. Has anyone in the midwest had experience with a GMPP dealer with good tech support? He will ship the vehicle to them for work.

Would this be more at home in Hard Core or Other Vehicle tech?

OV tech is proper.

How is it "running badly"

No I don't believe so. I am going to address the issue tomorrow night. It appears to be base timing issues which will certainly cause heat. I'm learning about the RamJet system now. An engine is an engine. I'd bet if I get the heat thing fixed it will run right. I'd imagine the trans is getting hot from the siamese coolers. I guess I jumped the gun. I 'll go check the basics and take a scanner. I'm reading that the ramjet has a dlc in the stand alone so I can check codes if need be.

Mace, I really don't have enough info I decided. It has no power and "overheats" is all I know. I'll know more Thursday AM. I have never laid hands on this set up. I did the first build on the truck and then closed my shop and the owner and a neighbor did the Ramjet, 700, atlas and pro rock 60's. I'm surmising from the email conversation with the owner that I have a fair share of work to do.
