Some people (i.p. in Europe) might find this information helpfull:
Glow plugs NGK 2188 Y-197R are listed as substitutes for Toyota OEM 19850-68060 (Toyota 3B Motor 1984, 24V (14V plug rating)).
But NGK recently changed the design:
The diameter of the glow section used to be 5mm, but was reduced to 3.5mm (and also a bit shorter).
All denomination (see above)(including EAN) remained unchanged.
NGK customer support says, that it is not possible to specifically order one or the other variant, and claims that however both variants meet the spec and (!) could even be used in mixed application.
