im going to go with 275-65-18, just a bit taller (and narrower) than stock.

Has anyone else run them yet? Any feedback?

The reviews have been good, i excited to try something better than the Dunlap s it came with- i only have 1500 miles on them and i know I don't want em.....

If you go that route I hope you post back on how they are doing - new and with a few miles. I have been considering them as well, but I am cheap enough that I will probably try to get a year out of the OEM tires before switching.

Based on the reviews, such as at tire rack, they should be quieter going down the road than other E-rated AT tires. And for the intended use of my 200 at 90+% on-road, quiet is a good thing.

Which ones are you getting?

275/65R18 118H Part#01533

-or-

LT275/65R18 123/120S Part#01553

There's a big difference.

I believe i am getting the 275/65/18 116H (non e rated)- i wanted the non e rated since im not carrying a huge load and may tow occasionally, not often- i wanted to keep the comfort there.

I am open to any advice though, please share if there is something i should know?

I bought some FJ wheels with those tires already mounted (about 5,000 miles on them) for my brother's 1st gen Tacoma. Those tires where pretty awful, not really good on slick wet roads, and just... terrible off-road. I've ran quite a lot of tires over the years, and those were worse than the stock dunlop's on Florida roads.

And they were the E-rated or the "regular" H-speed rated? I'm pretty sure if I wasn't going to D or E rated ATs, I would go with Michelin LTX.

I looked at the LTX defenders, but only the E rated ones were severe weather rated...

These have a higher rating on than the michelins, and i love michelins.. they have a 30 day warranty, so i will see what i think of them

When did you buy these wheels with the tires on them? The Go15's are pretty new, only been out about a year? They replaced the ATS's

A few months ago, they were the P285/70r17 size. We really wanted the wheels, but with cheap 33s figured why not. The original buyer, got them because he just wanted a tire to match his lift, but then decided on another wheel/tire combo.

Personally, I've always had poor results on Yokohama tires, and those kinda solidified it for me. My brother now has Cooper AT/3s, (third set in my pool of family and friends) and we all really like them.

I'm not saying the Go15s are dangerous, or you wouldn't be happy with them. I just have the fortunate luck to live in and around automotive shops and get to play with a lot of stuff. And for me, that's gotten to ride around on over 30 different type of tires over the last decade, I started to notice the slight differences, and started to expect more from products.

For this size have you considered P metric Michelin AT2? Do you have to have a severe weather rated tire? Can always return them with the Michelin 30 day trial.

Also, the GO15 is made in Thailand. Would you rather have a tire made in USA? Not that that is bad or anything, but it matters to some.

I don't have to have severe rated tires, but ive usually reserved my suvs for that duty when needed. I almost went for michelin LTX defenders, but the G)15's were higher rated?

Update- i had them installed and the tire shop had both the E rated and the P metric tires for me to look at, the LT tires (e rated) were a bit larger, and much heavier

The P rated ones are just a quiet as the Dunlap, but a but firmer in a good way as the LC did not have any bump steer from the tires as i had felt with the Dunlap

I put 100 miles on them, so far im very happy, and the extra size is welcome in the wheel wells .

@Cruuzer Did you get the YOKOHAMA GEOLANDAR AT GO15?

Thinking of getting them due to the price

I had Geolander ATS on my FJ for the last two sets I bought. They were great and each set lasted well over 60,000 miles. If you aren't doing extreme off roading they seem to make a very good product. If you are a serious off roader then maybe you want to go with something a bit more aggressive.

I would advise against, I had them on an older Outback and they were OK, barely a step up from your stocks. Can't really imagine them on a truck that weighs 3x as much.

Anyone with any real world experience with these GO15s on a 200? Reviews most places seem very positive, but here not so much.

I am looking for something better than the stock, but not as aggressive as KO2s. I was originally thinking LTX AT2s, but they don't come in stock size from everywhere I've looked.

I guess worst case I'll settle for the LTX M/S2s, but I'd just like something a little more confidence inspiring for the few occasions I'm in the dirt.

I can vouch for the LTX M/S on the trail. They surprised me big time! Handle NC trails after a day of down pour

I wouldn't have guessed. They don't seem much different than the Dunlops that are on there now by what I see in the pictures.

I didn't expect it either! I wanted to go on a LC trail event to NC with my local club. It ended up raining a good bit while we were down there, figured I wouldn't get very far and end up leaving the 200 to ride with them in their built rigs. Had a couple times where I couldn't just crawl and had to bump it a small bit. But otherwise I had traction just as well as the rest of the group which I don't understand.

I did notice that they did a real good job of cleaning themselves

I put them on recently and drove 2,400 miles round trip last week to Florida. They are quieter than the G2's I had and those were p metric. I am running the p metric 285/60/18 G015 and they are 8lbs lighter than the G2's but the G2's were XL (extra load). The G015's are a little taller than the G2's but those were 8 years old but still had lots of tread. My speedo is only off 2mph instead of 4-5 with the G2's at 80. They do great in the rain and are very quiet. I will see how they do on fire roads next month in New Mexico. The G2's looked better due to the blocky tread. The main reason I bought them was the $120 tire after rebate that I got at Walmart.
