Getting MEGA engine noise with CB

I am running a firestick, mounted to the ARB front bumper with a CB mounted in my Tuffy box. The CB is grounded to the battery. I did a antenna check with a SWR meter and everything working a signals great when the engine is not running... as soon as I start up, I get no signal and the meter on the CB spikes with each rev of the engine.... any ideas?

You first need to determine if the noise is coming through the antenna. Unscrew the antenna from the mount. If the noise goes away or is reduced, then your engine is causing it. This can be hard to fix.
