I have not gone to pick it up yet. to cold out (ice).

four door, auto, she said some rust.

sitting 2 years.

stopped running one day. son got it running and drove to school.
would not start.
towed home.

looking for the fsm for this year on line if possible.

guesses?
me, fuel filter or pump.

don't know what motor is in it or anything.
if it is shot, will be parting out.

pictures please!!!

I some body metal if youre parting the poor girl out

You have a pm.

thanks.

just thinking of the worst thing that it could be..

it is pretty bad too.

blown head gasket.
won't start, tow home, drains down into the crank case.
son gets it started and drives it to school with water in motor.

cylinder fills up again, won't start. towed home and sat for two years with water in cylinder, motor, spun bearings.

don't know if it is a 4 cylinder or the v6..

what was the usual set up in these?

usual setup was v6 auto. And yes, when I here problem on that I start at blown headgasket (because otherwise they are solid motors) and wait til I hear something to the contrary....you description sounds like the HG could have gone and the son destroyed the motor. Obviously a guess, but it fits.

lol...

It would really be cool to find that it is covered under that head gasket recall AND end up with a new motor.....

I can dream right??? :grinpimp:

is that head gasket thing still going on????:hillbilly:

I don't think so...

Is it no crank, or crank but no start? Do these suffer from the same starter contact issues the earlier 22RE did?
